If your not already aware, Birkenstocks have officially made their comeback this spring and I'm sure they will continue to be around even in summer, with them being a sandal. This hasn't stopped people wearing them in winter though along with socks. I'm not sure what to think of this trend yet, whether its up my street or not but I have seen them styled really well, even with socks. I found some pictures online and I like how they have been worn. I don't think I'll be rushing out to buy a pair just yet but who knows they could grow on me. What do you think of this trend? Even celebrities are wearing them such as Alexa Chung, the Olsen twins and Miranda Kerr just to name a few.

Many shops are now making dupes of this type of sandal. Thats when you know something is really popular when high street stores start to sell there own versions. They range in price however they are all decently priced because they are just a sandal. 

Birkenstocks can be quite pricey but stores such as ASOS, H&M, Zara and River Island have created there own versions of the popular sandal if your interested in buying some that are affordable.
